Tim Southee Ruled Out Six or Eight Weeks

The New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee has been ruled out of the Test series in South Africa because of a thumb injury and he needs surgery for a ruptured tendon and is likely to be sideline for six-eight weeks and he continued the injury while diving in the field during a Plunket Shield match stuck between Northern Districts and Wellington at Karori Park and he scored 156 off 130 balls and took seven wickets in Northern Districts six-wicket win.
